PULSAR DATA SOLUTIONS PTE. LTD. ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to complying with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA). This statement outlines our policies and practices regarding the collection, use, disclosure, and protection of personal data.
Data Protection Principles
We adhere to the core data protection obligations under the PDPA, including: the Consent Obligation — collecting, using, or disclosing personal data only with consent; the Purpose Limitation Obligation — collecting data only for reasonable and notified purposes; the Notification Obligation — informing individuals of the purposes for collection, use, and disclosure.
We also comply with the Accuracy Obligation, Protection Obligation, and Retention Limitation Obligation to ensure personal data is accurate, secure, and not retained beyond necessary periods.
Consent Mechanism
We obtain consent before collecting, using, or disclosing personal data through appropriate means, including express consent (written or electronic confirmation) or deemed consent (when you voluntarily provide data for a clearly reasonable purpose). You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us.
Data Access & Correction
Under the PDPA, you have the right to request access to your personal data we hold and to learn how it has been used and disclosed in the past year. You may also request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe, typically no more than 30 business days.
Data Retention
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by law. When data is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or anonymize it.
Complaint Handling
If you believe we have not complied with the PDPA, you may file a complaint with us. We will acknowledge receipt promptly and complete our investigation within a reasonable timeframe. If unsatisfied with our response, you may also file a complaint with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC).
